Learning to knit a sock

Last night when the kids were tucked up i´ve started to learn how to knit a sock, going to give it a go on a evening when nothing much on television.Was tricky to get to this part using 4 needles and after reading the heel instructions not sure if will get past the heel but here goes. Even if i knit one will i be able to knit a matching one????lol.
